These sixth-grade students received certificates for the 2025 Letters about Literature contest! They have shown incredible strength and resilience during a very challenging time. With SCL closing at the end of this year, they are facing the difficult reality of saying goodbye to friends, teachers, and a place they’ve called home. Despite the sadness, they have continued to strive for excellence, pouring their hearts into their writing and demonstrating their passion for learning. Their recognition in this contest is a testament to their determination and courage. We are proud of how they have risen above their circumstances and continued to shine. Join us as our 2nd grade class takes a pivotal step in their faith. First Holy Communion will be on Saturday, May 3rd at 11 AM.

Our 7th grade students warmly invite you to join us for a live presentation of the Stations of the Cross as we reflect on the journey of Jesus to the cross. Join us on Friday, April 11th at 9 am in our church.

2nd
grade will be collecting infant and children's books. The books will be donated to the Kid's Pantry. The Kid's Pantry provides gently used children's items to families in need through community donations. They also have a Little Library and would love book donations! Please help us spread the love of reading throughout the season of Lent. Ms. Goczkowski, our incredible 2nd-grade teacher has gone above and beyond to organize this event despite the challenges of our school closing. Her dedication to creating joyful experiences for our students is truly inspiring, and we are so grateful for all the effort she puts into making lasting memories for them.

The Middle School students attended Feed My Starving Children this week as part of our Lenten Service. This tradition is one of many that make SCL a place our students will always remember. It's hard doing something for the "last time," with our students but we know we will always have each other.

The 3rd Quarter SCL Honors Assembly has been moved to Wednesday, April 16th immediately following 8:15 mass. We hope we have a priest to say mass that morning. See you there to cheer on our Crusaders and how well they continue to do in this difficult time.

Come by and say hi and have an Apple Pie! It's McTeacher Night where the proceeds from the apple pies we sell will go back to St. Catherine Laboure School! Let's see which teacher is going to dress up like an Apple Pie this year?
