You should hear the students scream and cheer when the announcement comes over the p.a. 1-2-3-4 We Declare A Coin War! Students bring in coins to build up their container before they are sabotaged by larger increments in different classrooms. The race is on and students are excited! Our Middle School participates in the Letters About Literature contest every year. This contest gives students the opportunity to write a letter to their favorite author explaining which characters had the biggest effects in their lives. This year 2 of our students, Brooke B. in 8th grade and Ahni K. in 6th grade, were given the title, Finalist. So Crusaders!

Join us as our 2nd graders celebrate their First Holy Communion on Saturday, May 10th at 10 am. They have been preparing for this momentous occasion and look forward to having their loved ones with them as they take a step closer in their relationship with God.

The students at St. Catherine Laboure invite you to join us as we crown The Mother Mary on Tuesday, May 7th at 9am. During this sacred time between Easter and Pentecost, we acknowledge that Mary is always a part of our lives. We Crown Mary to symbolize she is the Queen of Heaven and of our lives.

International Night is a favorite tradition for SCL! Our families get together and celebrate one of the factors that makes SCL so unique. Our diversity unites us as we watch performances and learn about all the different cultures SCL has. Food is available to sample from different countries. Time for a good old fashion Bake Sale! School council is sponsoring a Bake Sale on Thursday, May 25th. Individually wrapped goodies will be sold before lunch and after school. Get your goodies before they're gone!

Mr. Blumenshine presented our 3rd Quarter Honor Roll students with their awards after church on Wednesday, April 10th. He emphasized the Crusader Way and how the Honor Roll showcases students with excellence in their classes, both in academics and behavior. Excellence is Intentional!
