Crusader Way

On Thursday, August 22nd, we will get together as a community to learn about the curriculum and what to expect during the 2024-2025 school year. All parents are required to attend. See the flyer for details about when to be where. So excited to start the new school year and see all of the students and parents come together again!

Milwaukee Pretzel Company is generously giving SCL 50% of the sales for orders given to the school by September 12th. Orders will be fulfilled and delivered to SCL on October 1st. This fundraiser will raise money for our playground. Thanks everyone for your ongoing support!

Join us on September 8th to eat, play, and enjoy our community at SCL. Food will be served between noon - 2pm. The Parish Picnic is a tradition at SCL where we share conversation and enjoy the company of our parish. There will be games for the kids and a special visitor. Come on by to find out who it is! Join us after the 11 AM mass on Sunday, July 21st for some water fun! Bring the kids, bring the family, and don't forget to bring a towel. Games will take place on the SCL field. All are welcome to join in on the fun on these hot summer days!

The Glenview Summerfest is this weekend and we need your help to show the community why SCL is so unique. Our community is made up of people that care about each other and live in the way of the Lord. Whether you have children in our school or have children that have graduated, we know you are who should be representing us. All Students entering Jr. Kindergarten through 8th grade have been assigned a summer reading book. These books are readily available at libraries, bookstores, and online. During the first week of the school year, students will use these summer reading books for literature circles, assessments, and activities. Enjoy these great books!

Mr. Blumenshine presented our 4th Quarter Honor Roll students with their awards after church on our last day of school. He emphasized the Crusader Way and how the Honor Roll showcases students with excellence in their classes, both in academics and behavior. Excellence is Intentional! You should hear the students scream and cheer when the announcement comes over the p.a. 1-2-3-4 We Declare A Coin War! Students bring in coins to build up their container before they are sabotaged by larger increments in different classrooms. The race is on and students are excited!
