Early Childhood PreK-3 - Junior Kindergarten
Our early childhood program provides an excellent foundation of lifelong learners. Our program consists of a variety of learning strategies that foster children’s curiosity and overall development. We provide a nurturing environment that encourages self awareness, promotes healthy connections, independence, and a growth mindset. This approach to learning builds self confidence for each child to reach their full potential. We pride ourselves in being an academic preschool with educational standards, as opposed to a daycare.
Although the flexibility of our preschool program allows families to choose what works for their student and schedule, we pride ourselves in our academics and preparedness. As such, junior kindergarten students must attend school for a minimum of 3 days per week. Five days, especially full days, are highly recommended to acclimate and ready the student for kindergarten. Studies show that full-day preschool participants had higher scores than part-day peers in the same schools on socio-emotional development, language, math, and physical health. They also had significantly higher levels of attendance and lower rates of chronic absences. At St. Catherine Labouré School, we set up our students for success.
Half Day: 7:50 a.m. - 11:25 a.m.
Full Day: 7:50 a.m. - 2:25 p.m.

“I chose SCL for my kids because the students and staff are so welcoming and the curriculum is top-notch. My kids also learn how to be a good friend and kind to others. Since we started in their preschool, St. Catherine Labouré has been a second home to my kids.”
